2. Google User Data Limited Use Disclosure
Brevpulse's use of information received from Google APIs (including Gmail and Google Calendar) will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We limit our use of Google user data to providing and improving the core user-facing features of Brevpulse — specifically, generating your personalized daily digest of overnight emails, calendar events, and related notifications. We do not transfer this data to third parties except as necessary for processing (e.g., via Google Gemini or Groq for summarization) or as required by law. We do not use the data for advertising, selling, profiling, credit assessment, or any prohibited purposes under the policy.
3. Information We Collect & Google Integrations
- Account Information:When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed).
- Google Integrations:
When you connect your Google account, we request readonly access to Gmail (to read new/unseen emails and metadata) and Google Calendar (to read events and reminders). We only process data from the overnight period for your daily digest.
Data Minimization: We fetch only the minimal data needed (e.g., recent emails/events since last digest). We do not access or store your full email history, contacts, or other unrelated data.
AI Processing: We use Large Language Models (LLMs) from providers like Google (Gemini) and Groq to summarize and prioritize content transiently — no raw data is used to train external models beyond improving our service.
- Device and Log Information:To support multi-device login, enhance account security, and provide security notifications, we collect your IP address and User Agent (browser and device information) when you log in.
- Other Integrations:We may also access data from other connected services like GitHub (Notifications, PRs, and issues) to include in your digest.
- Payment Information:We use Paystack for payments. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data strictly to provide the Brevpulse service:
- Generating daily AI-powered digests of your activities.
- Sending you email notifications and digests.
- Managing your subscription and account status.
- Improving our AI models and application performance.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We process Google data transiently to generate your digest and delete raw email content and event details shortly after (typically within 24-48 hours, or immediately after summarization where possible). Access tokens are stored securely until you revoke access or delete your account. You can request deletion of all processed data at any time via support@brevpulse.xyz.
6. Data Security
We take security seriously. Your integration tokens and generated digest content are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access.
7. International Transfers
Data may be processed in Nigeria or other locations (e.g., via cloud providers like Vercel or AWS). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data during these transfers.
8. Third-Party Services
We may share data with trusted third-party service providers to facilitate our service:
- Google Gemini & Groq: Used for processing and summarizing your data to create digests.
- Paystack: Used for secure payment processing.
- Cloudinary: Used for storing user avatars.
9. Children's Privacy
Brevpulse is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
10. User Rights & Revocation
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your connected services and account settings directly within the application.
You can revoke Brevpulse's access to your Google data at any time through your Google Account settings (myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access). Upon revocation, we will stop processing new data and delete stored tokens.

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified via email, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
